You will work as a member of the OTTO by Rockwell Automation's sales organization in an applications technical role as a partner to our account executives. You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, selecting the best products, and devising solutions that improve our customer's business and meet or exceed application requirements. You will consult with channel partners and internal deployment teams to develop deployment plans that maximize value for end users. Your role involves frequent interaction with customers, learning new technology, developing system concepts, creating project foundations, and demonstrating how our products can improve business via virtual and in-person presentations. This position requires knowledge of systems engineering, industrial engineering, project planning, and involves working with various parts of our business. You will work remotely with frequent travel to customer sites as needed. You will report to the Director, Consumer Sales.
The total target compensation for this role is from $111,200 to $166,800 USD annually for US candidates, and $88,240 to $132,360 CAD annually for Canada candidates, with 80% base salary and 20% variable pay. Actual pay depends on skills, knowledge, education, and experience. This position is part of a job family; experience determines level and pay.
