A leading company is seeking an Enterprise Applications Engineer for a full-time remote role. The ideal candidate will enhance and maintain critical enterprise applications within a legal environment. Responsibilities include monitoring application performance, resolving issues, and leading projects for upgrades. Candidates should have extensive experience in managing complex enterprise systems, particularly in a law firm setting.
My client has a full time remote opening for a Enterprise Applications Engineer. They are seeking someone out of a legal environment. You will be part of the Information Systems Department, ensures the seamless operation and enhancement of enterprise-wide applications critical to the firm, such as document management, timekeeping, accounting, billing, compliance, ethical walls, and litigation support systems. This role focuses on daily system monitoring, user support, maintenance, and leading projects for application upgrades or new implementations. The ideal candidate is technically adept, a skilled problem-solver, and experienced in managing complex enterprise systems, preferably within a law firm setting.
Track the performance of enterprise-wide applications, monitoring error logs, server health, memory, and processor usage for reliability.
Resolve Help Desk tickets for enterprise applications, troubleshoot issues, identify trends, and escalate to teams or vendors when necessary.
Monitor patches and software releases, review release notes, track bug resolutions, and recommend updates for installation.
Lead testing of new or updated software, manage test environments, create testing scripts, oversee testing teams, and evaluate results.
Lead projects for new or upgraded enterprise applications, developing project plans, tracking deadlines, and managing team performance; support other projects as a team member.
Configure and maintain production environments, including server/client specifications, software packaging, integrations, and customizations; submit Change Management forms, coordinate vendor tasks, and monitor post-installation stability.
Collaborate with vendors on issue resolution, bug fixes, and new software versions.
Maintain expertise in enterprise applications through documentation, vendor interactions, and training.
Provide support for other applications managed by the Applications team as needed.
Package, test, and deploy desktop applications using SCCM.
Coach and mentor Applications Analysts and Administrators to enhance team capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science; equivalent experience and education considered.
At least 5 years of experience managing enterprise-wide applications, ideally in a law firm.
In-depth knowledge of document management, timekeeping, billing, accounting, litigation support, ethical walls, and security systems.
Proficiency in infrastructure, servers, operating systems, network communications, and desktop software packaging.
Strong skills in SQL Server, SQL scripting, Microsoft technologies, and Group Policy.
Understanding of law firm software, risk policies, and procedures.
Expertise in installing and maintaining enterprise applications, including load balancing and disaster recovery.
iManage certification preferred.
