Job summary

CPC (Colder Products Company) seeks a results-driven sales professional to drive growth with strategic customers in Thermal Management. You will lead relationships, train customers, and manage key accounts from our San Francisco Bay area base.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customer-facing roles, a technical/business degree, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Expect up to 50% travel and a performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field (technical degree preferred).
  • 3+ years in customer facing technical or sales roles; 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop opportunities with strategic customers in Thermal Management.
  • Build relationships with strategic customers, influencers and partners.
  • Conduct product training sessions for targeted strategic customers in Thermal Management.
  • Manage key accounts.
  • Develop strategies for penetration, expansion, and adoption of products in Thermal Management.
  • Serve as a technical resource to the commercial team.
  • Gather customer needs, competitive advantages, and opportunities to position products.
  • Leverage CRM to manage opportunities and large account management.
  • Participate in Thermal Management events and trade shows.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new opportunities with targeted strategic customers in Thermal Management.
  • Build strong relationships and networking with strategic customers, influencers and partners.
  • Conduct regular product training and information sessions for targeted strategic customers in Thermal Management.
  • Manage key accounts.
  • Develop strategies for penetration, expansion, and adoption of our products in the Thermal Management network.
  • Be a technical resource and point person with our broader commercial team.
  • Perform VOC and establish customer needs; competitive advantages, and opportunities to position/reposition products to maximize market penetration.
  • Leverage CRM to manage opportunities, application details and large account management.
  • Actively participate in Thermal Management events and trade shows.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
  • Basic Requirements: Must be located in or around the San Francisco Bay area
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related business, science or engineering degree (technical degree preferred)
  • 3+ years in customer facing technical or sales roles.
  • 5+ years preferred.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organizations including specifying engineers, purchasing, and upper management.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage cultural differences and diverse communication styles.
  • Professional self-starter who thrives in working in an autonomous environment.
  • Must have strong time management skills.
  • A solid sales acumen, with the ability to promote “value.”
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer centric mentality.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal groups and external customers.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Solid negotiating skills.
  • This role may require up to 50% travel, domestically and internationally. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.

Pay Range: $135,000 - $165,000/year This range is the pay scale for this role in San Francisco, California. Individual compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications related to this position.
