Job summary

The State of Missouri is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join the Office of Administration's ITSD Portal Development Team in Jefferson City, MO. You will design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to support ITSM and enterprise service delivery.

You will mentor peers, establish best practices, and contribute to a statewide ServiceNow Center of Excellence. Strong hands-on ServiceNow experience, ITSM module expertise, and frontend scripting skills

• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management).
• Hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to support ITSM and enterprise service delivery needs.
• Promote platform adoption by mentoring peers and helping establish a ServiceNow Center of Excellence.
• Develop and maintain detailed specifications for projects built within ServiceNow.
• Provide day-to-day administration and maintenance of applications and workflows built in ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality, integrations, and performance.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards.

• Develop and maintain detailed specifications for projects built within ServiceNow.
• Provide day-to-day general support, administration, and maintenance of applications and workflows built in ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality, integrations, and performance.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Proven ability to design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Experience with ServiceNow Studio, App Engine, and Scoped Applications.
• Hands-on ServiceNow development experience, particularly in ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Ability and Willingness to learn new things in a face paced environment.
• Comfortable with assisting other developers and providing training and support.
• Front facing UX/UI development experience preferred.
• Passion for strategic planning and process improvement.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
