Job summary

Ascension is seeking an on-site technical support professional to ensure uninterrupted radiology imaging workflows and rapid issue resolution across facilities. The role includes collaboration with radiologists, physicians, and biomedical teams to maintain PACS performance.

You will manage incident response, testing, and onboarding of image-guided equipment while supporting EHR integrations and post-processing tools. A willingness to travel between local facilities is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of related experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise radiology PACS, DICOM workflows, and EHR integrations is preferred.
• Willingness to travel between local healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, on-site technical support to radiologists and technologists to ensure uninterrupted imaging workflows.
• Conduct rounding with clinical leaders and physicians to identify and resolve bottlenecks at the point of care.
• Manage local ticket queues and system error logs to ensure rapid resolution within SLAs.
• Support image-guided equipment onboarding and workstation maintenance with biomedical and field service partners.
• Lead local application testing and downtime coordination during major incidents to protect patient data integrity.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience. OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Demonstrated professional experience providing on-site application support for enterprise radiology PACS platforms, DICOM workflows, and EHR integrations.
• Strong working knowledge of voice recognition reporting systems, image-sharing tools, or post-processing imaging software.
• Ability to maintain an on-site physical presence and travel between local healthcare facilities to support clinical teams.
