Job summary

Ascension, a leading faith-based health system, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for St. Vincent Hospital in Zionsville, IN. The role supports the OP Center with timely imaging procedures, patient positioning, and safety protocols under physician supervision.

The position requires relevant radiologic credentials, BLS within 30 days, and proficiency with contrast administration and advanced imaging procedures. Ascension emphasizes growth, support, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• Radiologic Technologist credential required within 180 days of hire.
• One of: Cardiographic Tech (CCI), Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Radiography), or Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) credential within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special/advanced procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
• Assist during radiology procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.


• One or more of the following required:
  
  
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  
  
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  
  
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  
  

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
