Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time on-site hybrid role to provide real-time, on-site technical support to radiologists and clinical teams across local sites, preventing diagnostic delays.

The role includes rounding with clinical leaders, managing ticket queues, onboarding equipment, and leading downtime procedures to safeguard patient data integrity and care continuity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, on-site technical support to radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams across multiple local sites to prevent diagnostic delays.
• Conduct regular rounding with clinical leaders and physicians to proactively identify and resolve complex imaging software issues at the point of care.
• Manage local ticket queues and system performance logs to ensure technical issues are resolved rapidly within established service level agreements.
• Coordinate medical equipment onboarding, worklist configurations, and workstation maintenance in partnership with biomedical and field service teams.
• Lead local system testing and downtime procedures during major technical incidents to safeguard patient data integrity and care continuity.

Education

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• Proven professional experience providing technical application support for enterprise radiology PACS platforms, DICOM workflows, and EHR integrations.
• Working knowledge of voice recognition reporting systems, image-sharing platforms, or diagnostic reading workstation hardware.
• Ability to maintain a physical presence and travel between local healthcare facilities to provide multi‑site clinical support.
