Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Radiology Applications Specialist to provide on-site support for radiology software and imaging workflows. You will troubleshoot in real-time, coordinate onboarding of equipment, and assist with downtime procedures to protect patient data and ensure care continuity.

This role requires on-site presence across facilities in Tulsa, OK. The position offers a hybrid facility with full-time scheduling and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, on-site application support and expert troubleshooting to radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to minimize workflow disruptions.
• Perform proactive rounding with physician leaders and clinical teams to resolve imaging software challenges at the point of care.
• Manage local ticket queues and monitor system performance logs to guarantee prompt issue resolution within strict service level agreements.
• Coordinate image-guided equipment onboarding, worklist configurations, and workstation maintenance with field service and biomedical teams.
• Lead local system testing and downtime procedures during major technical incidents to protect patient data integrity and care continuity.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Proven senior-level experience providing technical application support for enterprise radiology PACS platforms, DICOM workflows, and EHR integrations.
• Working knowledge of voice recognition reporting systems, image-sharing platforms, or diagnostic reading workstation hardware.
• Ability to maintain an on-site physical presence and travel between local healthcare facilities to support clinical operations.
