Job summary

Business Center 2 seeks an Epic Ambulatory Analyst to be the primary support contact for the Epic application within the Ambulatory team. You will design, build, and test system components to meet end-user workflow requirements.

The role requires strong IT fundamentals, project management abilities, and the capacity to provide technical guidance in the implementation and operation of the computer system. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required, and you must pass the Epic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required.
• Epic Ambulatory applications experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass Epic pre-assessment test.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary support contact for the Epic application in the Ambulatory team.
• Designs, builds, and tests the system to meet end user workflow requirements.

Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner.

Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UH staff and perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UH policies and procedures.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other work related field is required.Experience as an Epic application analyst preferred but not required.Experience specifically in Epic Ambulatory applications preferred.Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
