Job summary

Dexian is seeking a skilled production support engineer in Chicago, IL for a hybrid role with three days on-site and two days remote. You will ensure stable operations across production, infrastructure, and network layers while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The position emphasizes automation (Python or Shell scripting, Ansible), monitoring using Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK, or Prometheus, and robust RCA/problem-management practices.

Qualifications

• Production and application support in large-scale environments.
• Strong troubleshooting of production, infrastructure, and network issues.
• Proficient in Python or Shell scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure automation (Ansible or Python).
• Monitoring/observability experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK or Prometheus.
• Proficient in problem management and RCA/root-cause prevention.
• Batch/feed monitoring and support.
• Experience with ITSM tools and ticket management.
• Experience coordinating with developers, infrastructure teams, and business users.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Release/change management experience.
