KTek Resourcing LLC in California seeks an L2/L3 Production Support Engineer to keep enterprise Java applications and APIs running smoothly, monitoring performance and health across environments. You will analyze logs, perform RCA, participate in on‑call rotations, support deployments, and drive automation to reduce manual toil in line with ITIL practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based enterprise applications and APIs.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and system health using observability and monitoring tools.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, service disruptions, and performance issues within SLA timelines.
• Analyze application logs, thread dumps, heap dumps, and system metrics to diagnose complex issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents.
• Support application deployments, releases, environment management, and post-release validation activities.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs, microservices, middleware integrations, and batch processing failures.
• Execute SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and issue investigation.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, DBA, Cloud, and Business teams for incident resolution.
• Participate in on-call support rotation for critical production issues.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Support change management, problem management, and incident management processes following ITIL best practices.
