Baptist Health Paducah is seeking an Application Support Analyst - Intermediate for a hybrid role with both remote and on-site work and occasional travel to other Baptist Health markets. The role focuses on applying IT to healthcare operations, aligning system design with workflows, and supporting deployments and documentation.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or four years of equivalent experience, plus travel and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between IT and operations to align system design with operational processes.

• Ensure software builds meet organizational goals and HIPAA/Meaningful Use mandates.
• Under supervision, may coordinate medium-sized projects with medium budgets and potential system-wide impact.

Baptist Health Paducah is looking for an Application Support Analyst - Intermediate to join our team! This is a hybrid position - some work from home and some onsite training & support (as determined by management). There is potential for periodic travel to other Baptist Health markets, but the primary location will be in the Paducah area.

Under general direction, responsible for application and integration of information technology in the healthcare setting. This position will serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to align system design with operational processes. This includes data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support. Participates in application deployment and procedure documentation. Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use. Has technical knowledge of most phases of applications system analysis and project management. Under supervision may act as project coordinator for medium sized projects with medium budgets that may or may not have system-wide implications.
