  • Coordinate with EMR vendor technical support personnel to drive the escalation of systems issues, seeing them through to complete resolution.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Data Warehouse reporting team to improve and maintain accurate operational and financial data consistently within all EMR systems.
  • Partner with the Learning and Development team to establish in-depth application user training materials.
  • Ensure adherence to IT change management policies and procedures to maintain the stability of application systems.
  • Participate in the development and documentation of business continuity procedures and participate in disaster recovery drill exercises.
  • Implement EMR application systems configuration in accordance with best practice guidance from EMR vendors.
  • Complete all assigned compliance training by company established due dates.
  • Follow quality assurance processes and standards for EMR applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience with consolidation of EMR and patient interaction portal systems and exposure to multiple EMR platforms
  • Knowledge of implementing and supporting EMR ancillary applications (such as Healow) related to online patient scheduling, check-in, and bill payment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity and complexity.
  • Certification in relevant IT or healthcare informatics areas (e.g., HIMSS, CPHIMS) is a plus.
