Job summary

Bank of Hawaii is seeking an applications production support specialist responsible for the live support and operation of the organization’s applications. The role requires resolving issues, investigating solutions, and working closely with business partners and vendors to deliver reliable IT services.

As a primary contact, you will document configurations, perform upgrades and testing, and ensure system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in application support or administration.
• Strong knowledge of application systems, databases, and IT infrastructure.
• Proven analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for resolving application-related issues.
• Investigates and troubleshoots technical problems, working closely with business partners and vendors.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive solutions and improvements.
• Analyzes application data and develop system improvements.
• Provides IT support for organization-wide initiatives and projects.
• Maintains documentation related to application configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Assists with application upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Conducts system integration testing for application changes.
• Monitors system performance and proactively address any issues.
• Provides on-call after-hours support.
• Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.
