Innova Solutions is hiring an Application Security Engineer for a 12‑month contract in Charlotte, NC. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and focuses on embedding AppSec across decentralized teams, securing AI/LLM apps, and integrating security into CI/CD with SAST/DAST/SCA/AVR.

You will mentor developers, build security KPIs, and drive governance and risk tracking while partnering with engineering to adopt enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Application Security with enablement or CoP experience.
• Hands‑on AI/LLM security including prompt injection, RAG, guardrails.
• Strong Python automation skills for security testing and adversarial probes.
• Expertise in secure SDLC, CI/CD security, and threat modeling.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA & ServiceNow AVR.
• Proven ability to mentor developers and influence engineering teams.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Application Security Engineer. Position type: Contract (12 months). Location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid: (3 days onsite / 2 day remote).

Pay Range and Benefits:

Pay Range*: Between $82 - $88 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
