Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Madison is seeking an Application Scientist, Technical Services to provide outstanding technical support of Exact products to Clinical Lab customers.

You will collaborate with the Technical Services team and internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve assay questions or requests in a timely manner, and assist in transferring new development projects and enhancements of current products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• 3+ years of professional work experience in life sciences or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully use molecular biology techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data with tools such as Microsoft Excel or JMP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding technical support of Exact products to Exact Sciences Clinical Lab customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer assay questions or issues in a timely manner.
• Transfer new development projects and bring enhancements of current products and processes to the customer.
• Perform bench level experiments within several product areas.
• Prepare reports and documentation providing the analysis or summarization of project status and results.
