Job summary

Barclays in Whippany, NJ seeks an Application Support Analyst to keep critical banking applications running reliably. You will diagnose issues, optimize performance, and collaborate with users, developers and stakeholders to deliver uninterrupted services.

You will work with API stacks, Java, React and Spring, monitor logs and incidents, and help automate processes while upholding security and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Identify issues quickly and implement solutions to keep applications running
• Understand API stack, Java, React, Spring and databases (SQL, Oracle, Mongo)
• Communicate clearly with users, developers and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for service management and resolve complex issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and monitor systems to ensure performance
• Maintain knowledge base of resolved cases
• Analyze logs and user reports to identify root causes and apply fixes
• Proactively automate monitoring and improve resilience and efficiency
