Job summary

Barclays in Whippany, NJ is seeking an Application Security Analyst to strengthen security across software development and IT operations. You will evaluate findings, validate risk, support remediation, and translate testing data into actionable insights for engineers and security stakeholders.

You will work with SAST, SCA, DAST, API security, and AI-assisted testing, helping embed controls across the SDLC and ensure compliance with cyber governance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience running SAST/SCA/DAST scans and triaging findings.
• Experience testing APIs and common authentication/validation weaknesses.
• Experience with secure coding in Java/Spring, .NET, Go, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities in IT systems using penetration testing tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify emerging cyber-attack techniques and testing methodologies.
• Develop and maintain reports for senior stakeholders with remediation guidance.
• Collaborate to understand security requirements and improve controls across processes.
