Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a capable support specialist to maintain and enhance the Mphasis Javelina platform, handling claims processing tasks and associated reporting. You will troubleshoot production issues, assist with AS400 modernization using C#/.NET, and ensure accurate data validation across healthcare processes.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL skills, experience with healthcare payer systems, and a track record of documenting procedures and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting healthcare operations, claims administration, health plan, payer, or TPA systems.
• Experience with Mphasis Javelina or a comparable claims administration platform strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of claims processing, accumulators, ID cards, EOBs, reporting, and vendor file processes.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Experience supporting reporting, data validation, and operational workflows.
• Experience with AS400 systems, C#/.NET applications, or legacy application modernization.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience developing technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing technical and operational support for the Mphasis Javelina platform and related processes.
• Troubleshoot system, data, file, and production issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support modernization and deployment of legacy AS400 and finance apps using C#/.NET.
• Support healthcare reporting and file processes including CMS reporting and Anthem-related files.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, data processing, and recurring operational activities.
• Maintain centralized repository of reporting SQL queries with governance standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge resources.
• Partner with business users, operations, IT, and vendors to implement improvements.
