Job summary

Heitek Automation, a SunSource company, is seeking an Application Engineering Manager to lead the Application Engineering team and align engineering with the sales organization. You will guide technical engagement and ensure rigorous execution across branches.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to convey technical value through white papers, video walkthroughs, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership or team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Periodically travel to branches to join sales calls and support application sales tactics.
• Track partner certification requirements and ensure quarterly compliance.
• Develop plans for team changes to maintain certifications.
• Define a tracking and reporting method for engineering-supported sales calls.
• Collaborate with marketing to drive SIPEC initiatives across the organization.
• Define and drive generation of white papers and technical videos of core products.
