Job summary

Springs Window Fashions is seeking a motivated Application Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support the Commercial Team on energy efficiency and sustainability projects. The role offers hands-on project work, professional development, and cross-functional collaboration with various departments.

The intern gains exposure to architectural engineering tasks, data analysis, and training opportunities, with a formal onboarding process and ongoing learning sessions.

Qualifications

Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Sophomore/Junior level.
Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related Major Preferred.
Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail).
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

Assist in Application Engineering Improvement Projects.
Create simulations with shades including daylight optimization and energy modeling.
Assist in training architectural engineers to create and optimize simulations.
