Springs Window Fashions is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering intern for Summer 2027 to join the Innovation Project Engineering Team in New York. You will assist with engineering calculations, prototype build, and testing on next-generation fabric tensioning solutions, gaining cross-functional exposure and hands-on project experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree with Sophomore/Junior standing preferred.
• Mechanical Engineering major preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Office).
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Join Innovation project teams and work on next generation fabric tensioning solutions (FTS).
• Engineering calculations
• Creation of product test plan to meet Spec/Scope
• Author test procedures
• Build and assemble prototypes
• Perform functionality tests on products
