Job summary
ESAB Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer based in Hanover, PA to serve as the primary technical resource for the field sales force. You will drive technology evaluation, advise customers, and support the sales team with demonstrations, testing, and product positioning across welding solutions.
You will lead technical discussions with NAVSEA, other military contractors, and nuclear industry clients, developing tests and validating products to meet customer needs while collaborating
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in welding or metallurgical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven welding process knowledge.
- Ability to communicate clearly and solve problems.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Experience reading architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints.
- Experience qualifying welding procedures to AWS D1.1 or D1.5 and/or ASME, including PQRs and WPSs.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CAD tools.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary technical resource for field sales and advise on technology.
- Support development and introduction of new products and agency audits.
- Lead technical discussions with NAVSEA, military and nuclear customers.
- Coordinate tests and projects in nuclear industry contexts.
- Provide design/support to consultants, integrators, and distributors.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts and opportunities.
