Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Application Engineer to serve as the primary owner of the application matrix and interface between the Chief Engineer group and vehicle teams for transmission and driveline program requirements and delivery.

The role involves supporting the Chief Engineer in designated programs, developing high-level interface requirements, and ensuring applications stay within design envelopes for transmission and driveline products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in product development design and release; propulsion systems experience preferred.
• Advanced English language skills (reading and writing).
• Experience working with collaborative and global teams.
• Understanding of automotive manufacturing and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Chief Engineer in executing designated programs.
• Develops and maintains the Applications Matrix and interface requirements for programs.
• Ensures applications align with design envelopes of transmission and driveline products.
• Coordinates packaging studies to meet clearance requirements and supports vehicle adaptation designs.
• Owns Transmission Technical Specifications and communicates requirements to the team.
