Job summary

CEO Inc. in Tennessee is seeking an Application Engineer to partner with OEM customers and internal teams to develop innovative seating solutions for automotive, commercial vehicle, and off-highway markets.

You'll guide products from concept through production launch as the technical expert for assigned programs. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field), 3+ years in engineering, OEM experience, familiarity with APQP/PPAP and DFMEA/PFMEA, and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of Application, Product, Design, or Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Experience supporting OEM customers.
• Knowledge of seating systems, ergonomics, suspension seating, or related products preferred.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, and product launches.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications.
• Willingness to travel 10-20%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for OEM customers.
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturable seating solutions.
• Support product development from concept, prototype, validation, and launch.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams.
• Troubleshoot engineering and manufacturing issues.
• Support APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, and engineering change activities.
• Recommend product and process improvements to enhance quality and reduce cost.
