Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc is seeking an Application Engineer – Seating to design and validate new seating products for commercial vehicles and off-highway applications. You will interact with OEMs and cross-functional teams to tailor CVG seating solutions while driving quality and cost improvements.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 3+ years in design/applications; CAD tools and APQP knowledge are essential. Some travel to CVG facilities and customer sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in a product application or design engineering role; 2+ years in vehicle manufacturing.
• APQP standards knowledge; proficient with CAD/3D tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and documentation of new seating products; create CAD models/drawings; verify concepts.
• Provide technical support to customers/OEMs and manage changes, VA/VE, and cost-improvement opportunities.
