Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understand the software development lifecycle and leverage critical thinking skills to evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.

Position required skills: Software development using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Batch), SQL, Groovy, Shell scripting; Event Driven Development and Service Oriented Architecture; Test automation frameworks such as Cucumber and JMeter; CICD automation using Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, NexusIQ; Infrastructure automation frameworks/tools such as Chef and Ansible; Cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP); Software configuration and build management tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program.

Rate of Pay: The base pay ranges from $107,000 to $180,200. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a competitive total compensation package. Factors such as location, experience, education, and skills may impact pay.
