Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understands the software development lifecycle and leverages critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or in a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.

Position required skills: Position requires experience in the following: Utilizing RESTful Web Services and APIs; Databases including Oracle, DB2 and MySQL; CI/CD Tooling such as GIT/GitHub and Jenkins; Automated testing tools such as Junit; Agile methodologies and tooling including Kanban and Scrum; Building tools including Gradle and Maven; Developing cloud-based solutions with Spring Boot and Java; and Spring Boot, MVC, or Batch.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program.

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,558.00 to $150,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
