Duties: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understand the software development lifecycle and leverage critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.
Position required skills: Position requires: Software development using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Integration and Spring Batch), SQL, Groovy and Shell scripting; Working with Event Driven Development and Service Oriented Architecture; Test automation frameworks such as Cucumber and JMeter; CICD automation using Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and NexusIQ; Infrastructure automation frameworks/tools such as Chef and Ansible; Working with cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP); and Software configuration and build management tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle and Maven.
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $107,000.00 to $180,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
