Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer – Level 3 to support the DWSV team in a large, complex product environment. The role focuses on developing and integrating Java applications for distributed systems deployed on cloud platforms, with an emphasis on scalability and performance.

The ideal candidate will lead design, testing, and deployment, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to CI/CD practices in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Minimum eight years in software development and engineering.
• Bachelor's in CS or related field; strong Java development and UNIX/Linux experience.
• At least five years with CI/CD pipelines and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software for large-scale distributed systems.
• Analyze requirements, perform design, development, installation, integration, testing and issue resolution.
• Create scalable solutions using COTS, GOTS, and open-source software.
• Develop Java-based applications and RESTful services; optimize performance and reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
