Job summary

Integrated Packaging Machinery, LLC in Rockford, MI is seeking an Application Engineer to work with the Sales Engineer/Account Manager to craft equipment solutions, customize quotes, and apply engineering principles to meet customer needs.

You will create customer layouts and quotes, oversee project lifecycles per IPM standards, define technical approaches, communicate details to internal teams, demonstrate product features, and troubleshoot equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years project management experience preferred.
• Technical aptitude.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, edrawings.
• Familiarity with construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Create customer specific layouts and quotes for equipment solutions.
• Follow IPM standards to oversee all phases of project lifecycles; initiation, planning, execution and closure.
• Define technical approaches to projects.
• Determine project scope requirements at time of quote and communicate the project details of what was sold at time of customer PO to IPM internal teams through Application Sign off.
• Demonstrate product features with presentations or on-site instruction.
• Troubleshoot equipment when reliability concerns arise.
• Travel approximately 25% for site visits.
