Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Applications Engineer in Bethlehem, PA to serve as the technical expert for a highly engineered product line. You will own projects from quotation through implementation, collaborate with customers, distributors, and internal teams, and deliver training and proposals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • Associate degree with directly applicable engineering experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineered products, automation, fluid handling, motion control, or similar industries.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert for a highly engineered industrial product line.
  • Own assigned customer projects from quotation through implementation and ongoing support.
  • Partner with customers to understand application requirements and recommend engineered solutions.
  • Prepare technical quotations, pricing recommendations, and product proposals.
  • Support Territory Managers, distributors, and customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and application requirements.
  • Deliver technical product training and presentations for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product management to support new products, product improvements, and customer solutions.
  • Assist with technical documentation, product literature, and inventory recommendations.
  • Travel to support customers and business initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical Engineering preferred, but all engineering disciplines will be considered).
  • Associate degree with directly applicable engineering experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineered products, automation, fluid handling, motion control, or similar industries.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with hydraulics, fluid power, pneumatics, filtration, or other engineered products is preferred but not required.
  • Lean manufacturing experience a plus
