Job summary

PurdueME is seeking an Application Engineer for Data Center Cooling Systems to help drive orders for Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) in data centers. You will identify customers’ pain points, develop application-level value propositions, and nurture relationships with stakeholders in the data center ecosystem.

You’ll recommend technical solutions focused on the Air Moving portfolio and help customers qualify PES offerings, reporting to the Senior Product Manager of Air Moving Solutions.

Application Engineer, Data Center Cooling Systems

The position’s mission is to increase orders and sales of Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) to Data Centers. Primary duties include identifying customers’ pain points, developing application-level value propositions, nurturing relationships with stakeholders in the Data Center ecosystem, recommending technical solutions focused on (but not limited to) the Air Moving portfolio (backward curve plug fans, forward curve blowers axial fans, etc.), and helping customers qualify RRX solutions. The successful candidate is action-oriented, a strong communicator, and a collaborative team player across multiple functions, balancing technical and businessexpertise. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager of Air Moving Solutions, this individual will be a critical member of the Product Management team, responsible for driving profitable growth.
