Job summary

Omron Inspection Systems Division is a Phoenix-based role supporting Omron’s automated inspection solutions (SPI, AOI & AXI). The position emphasizes customer-facing technical support, training and collaboration with the sales team. Domestic travel up to 50-75% is expected.

The applicant should have a BS in Engineering or related field, 4+ years in SMT manufacturing with capital equipment support, and strong troubleshooting abilities. Remote and on-site work options are included.

Qualifications

• 4+ years SMT-manufacturing experience, inspection-focused preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and capital-equipment support exposure.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50-75% and support customers onsite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge base of Omron inspection solutions and industry insights.
• Provide remote, phone and on-site customer support.
• Assist sales with demonstrations, evaluations and promotional activities.
• Train customers and team members on technology topics.
• Crosstrain on SPI, AOI and AXI product categories.
