Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of SMT-manufacturing related experience with capital equipment support.
• Ability to read basic electrical schematics.
• Experience with Windows PC/Server, networking, and security support.
• Strong verbal and written communication for customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge base of Omron inspection solution portfolio and industry insights.
• Maintain expert level knowledge of equipment operation and programming.
• Assist customers with equipment decisions and technical discussions.
• Assist the sales team with demonstrations, evaluations, and promotional activities.
• Provide remote, phone and on-site customer support.
• Train customers and team members on technology topics and create training materials.
• Crosstrain on SPI, AOI and AXI product categories.
• Represent Omron with professionalism and ethics.
