Job summary

Trelleborg Group in the United States is seeking an Application Engineer to design and develop anti‑vibration solutions that meet customer requirements, create CAD models and manufacturing drawings, and provide expert technical guidance on product selection and application.

You will validate designs, document results, mentor junior engineers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to the team's technical capability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in anti-vibration products.
• 3D CAD knowledge is essential.
• Ability to design and communicate information on complex engineering drawings.
• Experience liaising with customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Receive enquiries from customers and understand detailed needs.
• Engage customers, provide specification support, and travel as needed.
• Create concept proposals with technical specifications and costs.
• Perform stress, strain, and stiffness calculations and define tests.
• Design product solutions and chair engineering review meetings.
