Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar role within the anti‑vibration products industry.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering.
• 3D CAD knowledge is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and liaising with customers professionally.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive enquiries from existing and prospective customers, understanding detailed needs.
• Liaise with customers through specification phase, design freeze and approval; some travel may be required.
• Create concept proposals with technical specs and costs; assess feasibility of manufacturing the product.
• Perform calculations related to stress, strain and stiffness; define tests to demonstrate design meets requirements.
• Design a product solution and prepare data for new product reviews; lead engineering reviews.
• Provide customers with reports detailing product selection for their application.
• Ensure manufacturability and cost‑effective production; consider tolerances and design implications.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
