Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks a senior software engineer for government projects in the Maryland area. You will design, implement, and sustain web-based tools, lead UI teams, and work with Angular, TypeScript, REST, and data visualization.

We value proactive leadership, strong security culture, and collaboration across multiple contracts and teams. Candidates must have TS/SCI clearance and contribute to ongoing modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• All diplomas/degrees must be from accredited institutions.
• Minimum experience/education: see list of combinations.
• Proficient with TypeScript and JavaScript; Angular UI experience.
• Experience with Agile Framework / SAFe and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analyses.
• Manage software development using formal specifications and CASE tools.
• Estimate costs and schedules; review programs to improve efficiency.
• Define specifications for software applications and maintain existing ones.
• Lead design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation; supervise others.
• Oversee quality assurance of existing and new software products.
• Develop capabilities for automation and continuous monitoring within Secure the Enterprise.
• Develop, test, deploy and sustain web-based capabilities using Angular 14+ and REST endpoints.
• Create dashboards and provide mockups for new development.

Responsibilities

• Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation.
• Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
• Estimate software development costs and schedule, review existing programs, and assist in making refinements to reduce operating time and improve current techniques.
• Formulate and define specifications for software applications or modify and maintain existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
• Lead program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Instruct, direct, and check the work of other task personnel.
• Oversee quality assurance review and evaluation of existing and new software products.
• As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire lifecycle of a project.
• Develop, test, deploy, and sustain web-based capabilities utilizing Angular 14 or higher, interacting with REST endpoints to send requests, receive formatted responses, and visualize data in various detail levels on UI front ends.
• Create single-page application dashboards and provide mockups for new development.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with agency appropriate polygraph required.
• All experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category. All diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions.
• Minimum experience and education levels:
  • 12 years experience + high school diploma/GED
  • 10 years experience + associate's degree
  • 8 years experience + bachelor's degree
  • 6 years experience + master's degree
  • 4 years experience + doctorate degree
• Proficient with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Leadership experience in UI technical domains.
• Experience using Angular framework to develop user interfaces.
• Experience analyzing JSON data structures when working with REST.
• Experience with CSS to enhance the look and feel of user interfaces.
• Familiarity with Jira.
• Familiarity with Confluence.
• Experience with Agile Framework / SAFe.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Balsamiq.
• Experience with MongoDB.
