Job description

The Applications Engineer provides hands-on support for enterprise systems and applications. This role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to manage environments, ensure system stability, and deliver reliable technical support across development and operational systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform installation, configuration, and validation of system environments.
• Manage environment buildouts across development, staging, and other non-production systems.

System Support

• Provide post-upgrade stabilization and ongoing technical support for systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain uptime and performance.

Technical Operations

• Manage corporate support cases and perform ServiceNow ticket triage.
• Coordinate system releases, deployments, and planned downtime activities.

Infrastructure Maintenance

• Configure and maintain bridge services and supporting infrastructure.
• Validate Azure relays, client secrets, and service account configurations.
• Perform log analysis to identify and resolve system issues.

Cross-Functional Support

• Provide backup support for topology maintenance and access escalation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system reliability and operational continuity.

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with enterprise application support and environment management.
• Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
• Windows operating systems, Windows applications, and client-server application support.
• PowerShell experience. 3+ years.
• Python scripting is a plus.
