Job description

We are seeking an Enterprise Application Engineer to support, enhance, and optimize critical business applications across the organization. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure the stability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems.

We are specifically targeting candidates with strong SQL/query development, API integration, and automation experience, along with exposure to Azure enterprise applications, Windows Server administration, and modern workflow automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support, and optimize enterprise applications supporting finance, operations, business development, and other core business functions.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, SSIS/SSRS reporting solutions, and data integrations that support operational and reporting needs.
• Automate business and IT processes using Power Automate, Boomi, PowerShell, and other automation technologies.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot application integrations using APIs, web services, and scripting solutions.
• Support Azure-based enterprise applications, including Azure AD app registrations, authentication, identity management, and integrations.
• Administer and support Windows Servers, Microsoft SQL Server environments, Azure Fabric, and related infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot complex application, database, and integration issues across interconnected systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and workflow efficiencies.
• Work with software vendors and internal teams to implement upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance activities, including application, Windows Server, and SQL Server updates.
• Maintain documentation related to systems, integrations, procedures, and support processes.

Qualifications

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including:
• Query development and optimization
• Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Integration Services (SSIS)
• Basic database administration, maintenance plans, job scheduling, and performance tuning
• Experience building and supporting API integrations and automation solutions.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, C#, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Azure Enterprise Applications, including:
• Authentication and identity integrations
• Enterprise application management
• Experience with Power Automate, Boomi, or similar workflow automation platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise business applications in a production environment.
• Familiarity with reporting, ETL processes, data workflows, and system integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise software platforms within professional services, legal, consulting, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
• Exposure to ERP, financial management, CRM, practice management, document management, or workflow platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, or related certifications are highly desirable.
