The primary responsibility of this internship is to work with the Application Development and Product Technology groups supporting the Engineering Plastics business within Covestro located in Pittsburgh, PA. The incumbent will support the team's focus on improving material performance by testing carefully planned formulations and/or chemistries in the laboratory. Support the design of plastic parts and mold designs activities using state-of-the art CAD and CAE technologies. Additionally, perform hands‑on advanced mechanical/thermal testing and processing of plastic parts in our labs
