What We Offer

For the summer of 2027, Covestro’s Industrial Facilities Management (IFM) team is currently seeking an intern for our North American headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA that will last approximately 12 weeks. The work will be done within the R&D facilities arena.

Some responsibilities within the IFM internship program could include project planning, equipment assessments, drawing verification, field analysis, construction support, specification development and review and AI implementation.

What You Offer
Basic Qualifications
  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with a focus in one of the following majors: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering. Others to be considered.
  • Completion of sophomore year
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of junior year preferred.
  • Prior internship/work experience preferred.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Possess excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including an ability to interact and establish strong working relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Detail oriented, fast learner, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
