Job summary

Brainlab is seeking a field-based professional to conduct on-site clinical evaluations of image-guided surgery products and to help physicians maximize IGS usage. This role requires you to be based in Arizona, New Mexico, or the Las Vegas metro area with 50% regional travel.

You will lead installations, train OR staff, liaise with account teams, and identify service opportunities while collaborating on sales and product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical field as listed.
• 6 months experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site clinical evaluations to demonstrate products and services to increase IGS usage.
• Provide on-site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and OR personnel during surgery to maximize IGS efficiency.
• Lead installations and educate/train physicians and hospital staff on IGS products and services.
• Utilize engineering expertise to contribute to quality improvement and product modifications.
• Act as primary customer liaison, maintain site visits and gradually increase revenue via service contracts and parts.
• Strategize with the Account Manager to evaluate opportunities and open sales projects.
• Promote surgery products and services to surgeons at trade shows.

Job Description

Home worksite (must be based in Arizona, New Mexico, or Las Vegas metro area)

• Conduct on‑site clinical evaluations to demonstrate the use of products and services to increase the frequency and quality of image‑guided surgery (IGS) product usage
• Provide on‑site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and OR personnel by evaluating options and problem‑solving during surgery in order to maximize IGS efficiency and usage
• Lead installations and establish functionality at new and existing customer sites; educate/train physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical and Information Technologies staff, on the use of IGS products and services
• Utilize engineering expertise to contribute to the quality improvement process by recommending product modifications
• Act as primary customer liaison, maintaining site visits and regular contact with customers, assessing satisfaction and usage levels, and working to increase revenue via the sale of service contracts, spare/wear parts, upgrades, etc.
• Regularly strategize with the Account Manager in your region to evaluate customer opportunities and open sales projects
• Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and utilization of engineering expertise
• Promote surgery products and services to surgeons at trade shows

50% regional travel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Biomedical Innovation, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing
• 6 months experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider
