Job Description:
This position involves complex to expert-level work supporting information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing these systems.
Responsibilities include supporting applications such as electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing, lab and pathology, radiology, PACS, cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long-term care, population health, patient-facing technologies, ERP, workforce scheduling, CRM, and more.
The Principal Analyst oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance throughout the application lifecycle, including selection, implementation, support, archiving, and decommissioning.
This role provides strategic guidance, aligning application support with organizational goals, managing related projects, mentoring team members, and developing best practices and standards. Supervisory responsibilities over lower-level analysts may be involved.
Essential functions are performed independently with minimal supervision and include problem diagnosis, requirements gathering, system configuration, documentation, vendor collaboration, issue resolution, project management, quality reviews, mentorship, documentation, hardware integration, reporting, on-call duties, testing, meeting participation, budgeting, stakeholder communication, and project outcome analysis.
Skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Office, in-depth application knowledge, system analysis, problem-solving, communication, project management, and resource planning.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, business, or related fields, certification in Healthy Planet Compass Rose, experience with Epic Care Management tools, Epic Compass Rose programs, SDoH, Reporting Workbench, and Epic modules like Ambulatory or ClinDoc, along with at least 8 years of healthcare experience.
Physical requirements involve operating computers, visual acuity, and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. The position is based at Peaks Regional Office in Broomfield, Colorado, with a 40-hour workweek.
