Job Description:
This position involves complex to expert level work supporting information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing them.
Examples include electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing and collections, lab and pathology, radiology, PACS, cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long-term care, population health, patient-facing technologies, enterprise resource planning, workforce scheduling, time and attendance, and CRM systems.
The Principal Analyst oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance of healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle, including selection, implementation, support, archival, and decommissioning.
They provide strategic guidance, align application support with organizational goals, manage projects, mentor other analysts, and develop best practices and standards.
Supervision of lower-level analysts may be required.
Essential functions include analyzing and diagnosing problems, translating requirements into design specifications, configuring and maintaining systems, documenting workflows, partnering with vendors, solving complex issues, managing projects, mentoring teams, developing standards, following documentation protocols, participating in training, hardware integration, developing reports, participating in on-call duties, testing, attending meetings, managing budgets, engaging with industry groups, overseeing project portfolios, and communicating with leadership.
Skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Office, in-depth business and application knowledge, system analysis, problem-solving, interpreting industry materials, report writing, effective communication, project leadership, resource planning, and strategic management.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, certification in Healthy Planet Compass Rose, experience with Epic Care Management tools, Epic Compass Rose programs, collaborative care plans, SDoH, Reporting Workbench, and Epic modules, along with at least 8 years of healthcare experience.
Physical requirements involve operating computers, visual acuity, and endurance for prolonged sitting or standing.
Location is at the Peaks Regional Office in Broomfield, Colorado, with a 40-hour workweek. The hourly range is $53.58 - $84.36, depending on experience.
