Job Description:
This position involves complex to expert level work supporting information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing these systems.
Key areas include electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing, collections, lab and pathology, radiology, PACS, cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long-term care, population health, patient-facing technologies, ERP, workforce scheduling, time and attendance, and CRM.
The Principal Analyst oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance throughout the application lifecycle, including selection, implementation, support, archiving, and decommissioning.
They provide strategic guidance, align application support with organizational goals, manage projects, mentor team members, and develop best practices and standards. Supervision of lower-level analysts may be required.
Essential functions include providing stakeholder support, translating requirements into design, configuring and maintaining systems, documenting workflows, partnering with vendors, troubleshooting, managing projects, mentoring, developing training materials, hardware integration, reporting, participating in on-call duties, testing, meetings, budget management, and engaging with industry groups.
The role requires managing IT project portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, advocating data-driven decision-making, and evaluating project benefits.
Skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Office, in-depth application knowledge, system analysis, problem-solving, interpreting industry literature, report writing, project management, and strategic resource planning.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, or related fields, certifications, specific Epic system build experience, and extensive healthcare experience.
Physical requirements involve operating IT equipment, visual acuity for monitors and documents, and the ability to sit or stand for long periods.
The position is based at Peaks Regional Office in Broomfield, Colorado, with scheduled weekly hours of 40. The hourly rate ranges from $53.58 to $84.36, depending on experience.
