Emplify Health is seeking an End User Computing Engineer Associate to join our End User Computing Team at the Main Campus in La Crosse, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional passionate about technology, customer service, and problem-solving.

You will provide first-level support for end-user devices and software, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and manage device lifecycles while collaborating across IS teams.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or related field or equivalent years of experience and education.
  • No professional experience required; prior customer-facing technical support or IT experience preferred.

  • Assist in preparing support documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Serve as escalation point for end user device issues from Help Desk.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for IT solutions.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Emplify Health is seeking an End User Computing Engineer Associate to join our End User Computing Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional who is passionate about technology, customer service, and problem-solving. In this role, you will provide technical support for end-user devices, software applications, and connectivity issues while working closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure a seamless technology experience.

What You'll Do

The End User Computing Engineer Associate is responsible for the hardware, software, and its connectivity to the network infrastructure that end-users rely on for their work. They provide first level technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist in managing the lifecycle of user devices and applications. The End User Computing Engineer Associate provides specialized technical support, consultation, and training services, coordinating and assisting in developing standards for enterprise end user device technologies. This role involves working with users at all levels of the organization and IS teams to support end user devices.

Working closely with other technical resources, the End User Computing Engineer Associate follows procedures, workflows, and tools to deliver exceptional support and customer service to maintain standard Emplify Health operations. The Engineer must be comfortable providing technical assistance both remotely and in person. Additionally, excellent communication skills are essential for sharing information with users within the department.

Major Responsibilities
  • Conduct device analysis, configuration, implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and installation of end user devices and software systems.
  • Collaborate with users at all levels of the organization to identify operational needs and explore information systems options.
  • Test end user devices to ensure they are functioning effectively before implementation or installation.
  • Work on assignments related to end user devices or other sections of projects and report on project task statuses.
  • Assist in preparing support documentation and knowledge documentation as needed.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for end user device issues/problems triaged from the Help Desk.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for all solutions maintained within the ITDS department.
  • Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.
What's Available
  • Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
  • Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm
  • Location: This role will require working onsite at Main Campus in La Crosse, WI
  • Compensation: Starting pay of $23.13/hour and up based on relevant work experience + applicable shift differentials for working a PM Schedule
What You'll Need
  • Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or related field or equivalent years of experience and education
  • Experience: No professional experience required. Candidates with prior customer-facing technical support, end-user support, or general IT experience, Preferred
  • Ability to perform desktop support functions including PC imaging, SCCM and Microsoft Intune application/device deployments, Active Directory user and device administration, hardware setup, software installation, and technical troubleshooting.
  • License/ Certification: Valid Driver's License, Required
  • ServiceNow Asset Management (Training), CompTIA A+ (certification), Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (Certification), Desired
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work well independently
