Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Epic ClinDoc Analyst to join the Clinical Applications team. This role supports, optimizes, and enhances the Epic ClinDoc module to improve clinical workflows, documentation quality, and user experience.

You will collaborate with clinical stakeholders and IT to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant patient care, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Epic certification is required; if not certified, completion within 3–6 months of starting the role.

We are seeking an experienced Epic ClinDoc Analyst to join our Clinical Applications team. In this role, you will support, optimize, and enhance the Epic ClinDoc module to improve clinical workflows, documentation quality, and overall user experience. You will work closely with clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and operational leaders to ensure that our Epic system supports safe, efficient, and compliant patient care.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoots and resolves basic application issues and provides end user support.

Collaborate with IT, and clinical teams to ensure optimal system performance and workflow efficiency.

Monitors applications for issues in connection with maintenance, upgrades and implementations.

Monitor performance and assist with auditing processes to ensure data integrity

Participate in projects related to system enhancements, integrations, and new implementations

What's Available:

Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)

Monday-Friday core business hours, no formal on-call rotation required

Remote work options for residents in WI, MN, or IA only, with occasional need to work onsite for support initiatives

Immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available for this position.

Based on experience, this position may also be filled at an Application Analyst or Senior Application Analyst level.

An Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Education: Bachelor's degree or a related field or equivalent years of experience and education

Experience: At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience

Certifications: Epic certification is required. If not currently certified in Epic ClinDoc, successful completion of this certification will be required within 3-6 months of starting the role.
