Job Summary

The Application Analyst I helps ensure the applications smoothly and reliably. They participate in the development and design of the application for which the Analyst is responsible and are expected to gain in-depth knowledge of the application and module(s). They collaborate with end users and other IT teams to troubleshoot basic issues, perform system testing, and contribute to training, documentation, and improvement efforts.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (Required)
  • One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
  • Less Than 2 Years of Experience in an information technology or healthcare systems environment, preferably focused on configuring, maintaining, or optimizing enterprise software applications to support operational workflows (Required)
  • Navigate rapidly changing situations, from evolving patient needs to technological advancements, by remaining flexible, continuously learning, embracing new challenges, and quickly recovering from setbacks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Work assignments are often straightforward and of limited complexity.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-directed to consistently ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Uphold ethical principles by maintaining confidentiality, ensuring informed consent, and making decisions that prioritize the well‑being of both patients and staff.
  • Work seamlessly within diverse teams, bringing together professionals from various disciplines to provide patient‑centered care and achieve collective goals.
  • Follows established protocols and guidelines to complete tasks accurately and to mitigate basic risks, and reports any potential compliance issues to their supervisor.
  • Makes decisions based on specific instructions, standard practices, and established procedures which generally require little or no supervision.
  • Addresses problems that are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures and by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Applies basic theories, skills, and practices to accomplish work assignments in Information Technology.
  • Entry level; basic knowledge of Information Technology.

Salary Range:

Minimum 24.80/hour - Maximum 43.40/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
