Job summary

Eliassen Group in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking an Application Analyst to coordinate Enterprise Asset Management release readiness, deployment planning, and post-release follow-up across application, analytics, GIS, and Change Management teams.

The role requires coordinating release windows, communicating readiness, and tracking validation results, with flexibility for evening/weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain release plans, timelines, milestone schedules, readiness checkpoints, contact lists, communication schedules, go/no-go materials, status trackers, risk registers, and action-item logs.
• Coordinate planning discussions, status meetings, pre-job briefings, readiness reviews, deployment activities, and post-release sessions across teams.
• Support implementation windows, including evening and weekend activities when required, monitor progress, and escalate issues affecting availability or service restoration.
• Prepare clear communications for technical teams, business partners, IT management, leadership, users, and Change Management.
• Track technical and functional checkout readiness, collect validation results, identify gaps, and support go/no-go decisions.
• Partner with multiple teams to align sequencing, dependencies, and release milestones.
• Assist with Change Requests, QA documentation, implementation plans, validation evidence, and audit-ready records.
• Respond to production issues and coordinate during incidents, disruption events, and deployment exceptions within SLAs.
• Document risks, blockers, lessons learned, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

Our client seeks an Application Analyst to coordinate Enterprise Asset Management release readiness, deployment planning, implementation activities, communications, validation tracking, and post-release follow-up. The role supports major, sprint, emergency, maintenance, and off-cycle deployments across application, mobility, integration, analytics, GIS, design tools, environment management, application maintenance, business support, and Change Management teams.

Rate: $45.00 to $50.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain release plans, timelines, milestone schedules, readiness checkpoints, contact lists, communication schedules, go/no-go materials, status trackers, risk registers, and action-item logs.
• Coordinate planning discussions, status meetings, pre-job briefings, readiness reviews, deployment activities, and post-release sessions across application, technical, environment, testing, business support, and vendor teams.
• Support implementation windows, including evening and weekend activities when required. Monitor progress, maintain status channels, communicate schedule changes, and escalte issues affecting availability, testing, or service restoration.
• Prepare clear communications for technical teams, business partners, IT management, leadership, users, and Change Management, including readiness updates, notices, status reports, checkout updates, issue notifications, decision requests, summaries, and all-clear messages.
• Track technical and functional checkout readiness, collect validation results, identify gaps, and support accurate inputs for go/no-go decisions.
• Partner with support, delivery, infrastructure, database, environment, vendor, testing, business, and Change Management teams to align on sequencing, dependencies, and release milestones.
• Assist with Change Requests, QA documentation, implementation plans, validation evidence, and records required for execution and compliance. Promote adherence to Change Management, testing, source control, documentation, and Human Performance requirements.
• Respond to production issues and coordinate during incidents, disruption events, failed implementations, and deployment exceptions within defined SLAs.
• Document risks, blockers, lessons learned, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Support retrospectives and help mature repeatable release management practices.

Experience Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years as an IT Application Analyst, Release Analyst, Release Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Change Management Analyst, or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating application releases, deployments, implementation activities, or production changes.
• Experience developing and maintaining release plans, implementation schedules, readiness trackers, status reports, risk logs, and action-item trackers.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience coordinating work across application, infrastructure, database, environment, testing, vendor, and business teams.
• Working knowledge of Change Management, incident management, application support, testing, and production implementation practices.
• Ability to track multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, decisions, and milestones simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical teams, business partners, users, IT management, and leadership.
• Ability to work effectively with limited direction and exercise sound judgment regarding communication, escalation, and release readiness.
• Ability to support implementation activities outside normal business hours, including evening and weekend windows when required.
• Preferred: Experience with EAM or complex integrated enterprise portfolios, coordinating various release types, facilitating readiness reviews and retrospectives, checkout and validation, SDLC (Agile/Waterfall), ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools, vendor and distributed teams, and enterprise standards and audit-ready documentation.
